Jekyll Island and the Federal Reserve
Jekyll Island and the Federal Reserve Are Connected by the Global Elite in Their Goal Toward Control of the World’s Money Supply.
At the time the Federal Reserve System was created, the U.S. hadn’t had any type of central bank in many years.
The first Bank of the United States operated under a charter from the federal government for many years but the charter wasn’t renewed.
After the charter ran out there was no central banking system in the U.S.
States relied on their own banking systems and there was no unified monetary system.
How do Jekyll Island and the Federal Reserve factor into the central banking system of the U.S.?
After several separate financial panics and narrowly averted national financial disasters the President decided that the U.S. needed a central banking system.
Nelson Aldrich was tapped to outline a central banking system for the U.S.
Aldrich set up a secret meeting on Jekyll Island and summoned some of the best business and financial minds in the country at the time, all members of the global elite, to come and help him create the Federal Reserve System.
The meeting was shrouded in secrecy and no one was supposed to know that there was a connection between Jekyll Island and the Federal Reserve creation after the meeting was over.
Many years later one of the attendees, Bertie Charles Forbes, wrote about the meeting and detailed for the first time the elaborate measure that were taken to protect the identities of the global elite members who were at the meeting at the Jekyll Island Club.
One of the more extreme measures that Aldrich insisted on was that no names be used during the entire time the global elite businessmen were at the Jekyll Island Club so that none of the servants would realize who they were and run off to the press.
Because the entire concept of the Federal Reserve system and central banking in the U.S. was really created at Jekyll Island there will always be a connection between Jekyll Island and the Federal Reserve.
Aldrich’s Connections to the Global Elite
Senator Nelson Aldrich wasn’t a member of the global elite by birth, but he was invited into the elite group through his marriage to a woman who belonged to a global elite family member.
Through his political and financial connections Aldrich worked his way into a position of huge influence in the government and he was considered to be the authority on financial matters pertaining to the Federal government.
After his political career he entered into many lucrative business deals with other global elites like J.P. Morgan.
His daughter married into the one of the most elite families in the world, the Rockefeller family, and his son was Vice President of the United States.
Throughout his adult life Aldrich worked hard to be included in the global elite and maintain strong connections with other global elites.
Why Jekyll Island?
Jekyll Island was chosen as the site for the secret meeting because it was a well known playground for the global elite.
Because Aldrich wanted the meeting to be totally secret it was necessary for him to call the meeting in a place where the security and the access to the famous guests could be strictly controlled.
Jekyll Island had been created by a developer to be the chic winter getaway spot of the richest and most powerful families in the US so Aldrich decided to hold the meeting there.
The connection between Jekyll Island and the Federal Reserve has been well documented and yet many people still don’t know how important Jekyll Island was in the formation of the central banking system that exists today.
Jekyll Island Today
Today Jekyll Island is still a prime vacation spot but these days it’s mostly for tourists and not for the wealthy global elite families.
Some of the winter mansions built by famous families like the Rockefellers, the Vanderbuilts, and the Morgans still remain on the island although most of them are museums now that showcase how the wealthy elite lived during the early 20th century.
The Jekyll Island Club, where the meeting actually place, is a luxury hotel that plays off the famous names associated with the island.
