The elite have a lot invested in making sure that they can get every citizen to be forced to carry a national id. 

There have been many steps in the process to even get to a point where they could present the idea of the national id to the public. 

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was introduced to the people of America, Canada and Mexico as a way that every citizen could benefit from greater trade between the three nations. 

While there has been a boost in the trading between the three countries, the only people that have seen a major boost in income has been the large corporations. 

Any company that could afford to go multinational could not only afford the licensing to utilize NAFTA, but they stood to gain from looser borders. 

The entire trade bloc was fashioned after the European Union (EU) as they could see the benefits that those nations saw from increased trade. 

The NAFTA countries were able to enjoy the benefits of a stronger trade bloc than any other trade bloc in the world. 

Having been sold to the American people as something that was going to benefit everyone, small business owners were angry that they were not seeing any benefit. 

In fact, small businesses were being hurt by NAFTA because if they were involved in international trade before, they were not allowed to continue without a NAFTA license. 

Not being able to afford the expensive procedures to get a license, the business owners were forced out of the international market. 

Other small businesses like the small oil companies in Newfoundland found out that even the local government could not give them the right to drill oil as it was promised to NAFTA companies only. 

When NAFTA expired in 2007, the elite forced George W. Bush to quietly sign the American Union into law. 

The national id cards news is also silent on the connection between it and the AU as they would like to keep the AU quiet until such a time as they have a council.

Knowing this, they will be able to intercept you anytime that they need to.
