Abraham Lincoln and Union Revealed
Abraham Lincoln and the Union Were Wrong. Good Intentions Were Corrupted by Elites & the Fascist Fed Government Was Born; NWO Enslavement of All Races Resulted.
Abraham Lincoln and the Union fought the Civil War to end the terrible injustice of slavery. At least, that is the conventional wisdom.
The fact it happens to be completely untrue does not seem to matter much to anyone in modern times.
It should matter, however, because what occurred during the Civil War was nothing less than the beginning of the end of American liberty.
Until the Civil War, the federal government was limited in what it could do; the states had every right to disallow a federal mandate.
In fact, federal mandates did not exist. There were executive orders, but Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation was the first to dictate state issues.
Once the war ended, the way was paved for further federal usurpation of states’ rights and the people’s power.
This is not the popular view of the Civil War, but it is the accurate view, especially in light of subsequent history.
There seems to be an unwillingness to be truthful about the ramifications of the Civil War.
It is perfectly reasonable to be thankful that slavery was ended, while still realizing that the Civil War was the beginning of the end of American liberty.
The Civil War ended American liberty because it set the precedent for the federal government to dictate orders to the states.
Like any slippery slope, at first it was minor and toward a good cause–the freedom of slaves; but, then the trend continued. Today, as American citizens, we have fewer rights and freedoms than ever before.
Abraham Lincoln and the Union were Wrong
Slavery had to end. It was the only just thing that could have happened. But, the federal government did not need to usurp states’ rights in order to make it happen.
The British were the South’s main trade partner, and they were already pressuring the South to end slavery. Many southerners did not own slaves.
Under the Constitution, the states created the federal government and had every right to either secede or abolish the federal government altogether.
The South’s choice to secede was actually the least radical of the two options.
Abraham Lincoln and the Union
Lincoln exercised many powers which were not his to exercise according to the Constitution. Those powers remained long after the war was over.
George W. Bush’s usurpations have their roots in Lincoln’s suspension of the Constitution he swore to uphold.
When you find yourself complaining about the bloated federal government, take a moment and say a silent thank you to Lincoln, for without him, the current sad state of America could have never happened.
Honest Abe wasn’t everything the history books have him cracked up to be.
