David Rockefeller and Dick Cheney Generate Fear
David Rockefeller and Dick Cheney Both Choose to Use Fear Mongering To Achieve Their Objectives
David Rockefeller and Dick Cheney share the same skills when it comes to fear mongering and blaming everything on 911.
When they want to justify breaking the law they simply blame it on 911 and claim that there is little choice since the terrorists must be pursued at all cost.
So corrupt was the government that within just a few weeks of the attacks telecommunication companies from around the country were receiving written requests which included directives for their aid with activities pertaining to intelligence, all authorized by President Bush.
Dick Cheney initially and later on David Rockefeller both used 911 to justify all the requests pertaining to covert surveillance that was illegal.
The Bush administration and the telecommunication companies both broke the law for several years, and even as time passed from 911 no one went back to complying with the laws of the land.
After all Dick Cheney wanted to prove that the President could exercise unlimited power.
And the telecommunication companies were enjoying the significant increase to their bottom line so they certainly weren’t complaining.
911 became the defence against surveillance that was illegal and against the Constitution, and while believable during the period immediately following 911, unthinkable as the years went by right up until 2007.
Both David Rockefeller and Dick Cheney showed no shame in exploiting 911 and patriotism to justify the use of illegal spying not just for a short time after 911 but for years to follow.
The World Through David Rockefeller’s Eyes
David Rockefeller and Dick Cheney Defend the Cause
Rockefeller is quick to come forward and protect the telecommunication companies from the threat of lawsuits.
He claims we cannot allow them to be sued or we risk not having their support in the future during darker days.
Rockefeller is doing nothing other than reading the Bush government post 911 script that justifies all of their illegal acts all in the name of the countries security and in keeping the country safe from further terrorist acts.
Both Rockefeller and Cheney are being misleading because the law actually allows for the suing of companies and then FISA law will simply restrict anything that is deemed highly confidential.
Rockefeller Presents a Corrupt Argument
In an effort to make himself look innocent Rockefeller argues that it is all in the name of 911 and that the images captured in a public place are already public so the government has not only not broken any laws and that it was necessary to keep the country safe, and neither had the telecommunication companies done anything wrong.
The trouble is that means that the highest level of government officials have an open license to violate with impunity all existing intelligence and surveillance laws.
It also meant that the Rockefeller’s could not be punished because they were required to keep what they had done secret.
Most knew that Rockefeller’s actions were really just patronizing, because if he really wanted the Bush government to face the consequences for their actions his bill would have included ways to make certain they were not able to invoke legal tactics.
David Rockefeller and Dick Cheney on the Same Side
While at first glance it might seem that Rockefeller was looking out for the people, he actually was looking out for the government just as Dick Cheney was, and both certainly play the 911 and terrorism blame game.
