The Echelon Surveillance System is a Government Tool
The Echelon Surveillance System has Become an Elite Spy Tool.
The Echelon Surveillance System is a hi-tech spy tool that is currently being used by the National Security Agency (NSA).
While it is one that who’s very existence is denied by the federal government, the Echelon system is said by many to be one of, if not the most, the most powerful surveillance system the world has ever seen.
Essentially, the Echelon system is designed to intercept communications of all sorts including fax, email, cellular, satellite, microwave and even fiber optic communications.
The amount of communication traffic the Echelon system is able to handle is almost incomprehensible in terms of the sheer volume it sees.
The targets of such spying can be quite surprising to some when you consider that any sort of communication coming into or going out of North America.
The system functions rather simply in concept by filtering the communications through several different programs that scan the information.
The different programs search through the different types of communications by using either imaging or voice technology.
The Echelon Surveillance System will then look for different phrases or codes words that match those loaded into its database.
