Freedom of Speech Censorship is Alive During Times of War

Freedom of Speech Censorship is a Tool the Government Uses to Push Propaganda Through.

During times of war, freedom of speech censorship becomes a real issue, as the government looks for any way they possibly can get the people to stay silent in order to push their own propaganda through to the people.

The most threatening thing to the government are the voices of the people it is supposed to serve, which is why it works so hard to silence those voices.

The government knows the truth could kill their campaign, so they hide the truth, push propaganda, and censor the masses, all as a way to keep dissenters from gaining momentum.

The ways that people are being silenced can be found in many different places in the United States, from the street corners where people have tried to organize to the big events like the Emmys where speeches have been cut off because they have an anti government message.

Just recently, Sally Field won an Emmy for her work on the show Brothers and Sisters and when she made an anti war comment, she was immediately censored by Fox, which should come as no surprise giving the track record of Fox.

Freedom of speech censorship is alive and well, and it is gaining momentum as people are actually giving up their right to free speech and feeling as if they are a patriot for doing so.

In the United States, there is a belief that you do not love the country if you would dare say something against it, when in fact that could not be further from the truth, as most of the people who find fault in the country find that fault because they are patriots.

No matter if it is the words of an actress, the protests of a peaceful group, the dissent of former soldiers or any other type of speech, freedom of speech is sacred and it should never be sacrificed under any circumstances.

Freedom of speech censorship cannot occur simply because someone does not agree with the type of speech that is being chosen.

The Fear of the Elite

The government and the elite are afraid of the power that will be gained by the people if the people exercise their right to free speech.

As soon as the people realize how they are being taken advantage of, they will fight back against the elite.

Freedom of speech censorship is done strictly out of that fear.

The elite does not want to relinquish their power, and they will do anything necessary to make sure they do not have to, which is why they censor the people.

Wars Throughout History

Censorship has been used as a tool for wars throughout history.

Look at the Alien and Sedation Acts, which were proposed due to the fear of impending war.

Each time there is a war, the government uses it to their advantage.

The government is pro censorship and they are able to get what they want when they go to war.

Then, they are able to control the masses because they are able to control their voices.

They use censorship as a very powerful weapon to use against the citizens.
