The Failing American Education System Has Been Doing Our Country a Tremendous Disservice. Compulsory Education Has Evolved Into Compulsory Indoctrination.

The failing American education system is apparent because of the lowering of standards by the government.

Academically, children have a lower level of literacy than children in foreign countries. Our children are not taught to compete; they are taught to comply.

The attitude of the children and the curriculum that the government provides for the teacher causes children to not be able to read fluently and use critical thinking skills.

Reading is not encouraged in the home and neither is it promoted enough in the classroom.

Children usually want a free pass and high grades without working hard to get it and the teachers comply with this behavior because it also makes it easy on them.

Students are not given the right tools and resources that they will need to enter the workforce and parents are not getting involved more to make sure that the school heightens the level of their education. Schools are creating individuals who do not take learning and knowledge seriously.

They are quite content with getting a mere C on their grade and just getting by because once they can graduate, the idea is that they will be able to land a job at McDonalds.

Mickey D will won’t really need their math skills, communication skills and reading skills to serve the customers.

Is College an Option

The American education failing system is having children graduate with no common sense or academic skills to take them on to the next level, which is college.

Going to college seems like a dream to many because the system feeds them the lie that they cannot afford it or they are not qualified.

If children can barely graduate from high school, then how are they going to enter college with its long dissertations, long hours of studying, and hours of testing?

The Self Absorption Generation

Children are more interested in the best shoes, brand name clothes, latest gadgets and pop music.

This has become a generation of retards and disinterested individuals that cannot hold a conversation because what they want to talk about is not educational, but self absorbed.

No wonder the American education failing system will go downhill because the generation of children who only think about the moment and not about life’s goals and aspirations.

Most Teachers feed into this acceptance because all they are thinking about is their next pay check and not the interest of the child.

High school drop outs tell the story of how self absorbed the current generation is about superficial things that have no value.

The television commercials and media frenzy target these young people to want more of the glitz and less of their education.

Cell phones are taking the place of reading in such a big way. Children at young ages have cell phones and parents do not monitor them and so homework does not get done.

This is why the American education failing system is creating these children that have no clue about world view and other important matters that will affect them in later years.
