American Revolution Loyalists and Patriots Today
American Revolution Loyalists and Patriots Have a History Rich in Conviction. America Was Founded by Those Willing to Fight for Liberty and Freedom.
The American Revolution Loyalists and Patriots were two very different groups of people. The American Revolutionary war started in 1775 and ended in 1783 with an official version of independence and sovereignty of the United States.
it is clear today the ruling class of England still controls the United States as they are the ones behind the banking system.
The American Loyalists were the American colonists who were loyal to the British Kingdom during the Revolutionary War.
The Patriots called them Tories and sometimes Royalists. After the British were defeated, about 20% of the Loyalists left the country and moved to Britain or New Brunswick and some to the Bahamas.
During the war, many black people who were slaves joined the British army. The American Loyalists and British promised freedom for service.
The slaves tried to make their life better by choosing a side between the American Revolution Loyalists and Patriots.
Some of them managed to find safe passage to England, where they would be free. Others fled to the Caribbean.
Many blacks went to the Bahamas and started planting cotton. Those that could not find safe passage elsewhere were recaptured into slavery.
The Loyalists almost never attempted any political organization. The British government assumed there would be a large Loyalist community and had plans to raise the Loyalist troops.
Most of the white Loyalists stayed in the United States during and after the war.
Around the 1780s, some of those who left the country returned. The rich Loyalist exiles went to Britain to start their lives over again.
Others went to the Bahamas taking their slaves along with them. Historians say that Loyalists were about 15%-20% of the white American population.
This distinction is important today as the English elite still own much of the private banking system in the United States, driving their own agenda for control.
Patriots Among US
The Patriots came from different backgrounds. Many of them were rich individuals with higher educations.
The United States however, wouldn’t have achieved their independence without the support from the lower and middle class who were against the British rules of taxation.
They believed the taxes were illegal because colonists weren’t represented in the Parliament. Since Patriots believed these taxes were illegal, there was much conflict and refusal to pay.
Some historians say around two out of every five of the colonists were Patriots. There are two theories about this.
One theory states one third were Patriots, one third were Loyalists and the rest didn’t actually care about the war. On the other hand, the other theory states 25%-30% were Loyalists, 35%-40% were Patriots, and the rest were neither.
Lady Loyalists and Patriots
American Revolution Loyalists and Patriots didn’t include only men, but women also. There were Native American women, African-American, and Euro-Americans.
Despite the fact the women weren’t included in the Revolutionary politics, they participated in the war by boycotting goods from Britain and following the armies, washing, cooking, and taking care of their men.
The boycotting of goods were mainly household products. Women started spinning and weaving, which where skills they hadn’t used for a very long time.
The Native View
For the Native Americans however, the Revolutionary War was not for independence. Most of them supported the British because they had a treaty with the British not to migrate west of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
There were those who supported both and didn’t join any of the American Revolution Loyalists and Patriots, as well as those who didn’t support either and stayed neutral. Some lost their lands and were driven to Canada.
No matter what the outcome, English rule never actually left the United States – it just went into hiding.
Now, the English elite own much of the Federal Reserve, ensuring the future of our economic status is in the hands of a banking mafia. Is this the reality you have come to know? It is time to get informed.
