Behavior and Risk Surveillance of Youth Program

The Behavior and Risk Surveillance of Youth is Unacceptable and Just One More Example of the Elite Backed Government Butting Into Our Lives.

If you’re sick, or you’re likely to get sick, statistics don’t make you better.

However, the U.S. government seems to think they do and pours millions annually into invasive programs such as the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) for adults.

They also fund the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS). These are both really painful programs.

The one involving the behavior and risk surveillance of youth is especially egregious.

This is a monitoring system where the do-gooders, who are paid for with our tax dollars, go to schools and conduct surveys to find out who might get sick or might be really fat and have asthma.

There is nothing about this in the U.S. Constitution.

The government boondoggle behind this laughable program is the Centers (sic) for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Somehow, by interfering in your private life, the government gets to prevent you from getting sick or helps you get thin or draw breath.

Okay, this is a sarcastic take on the behavior and risk surveillance of youth but the point is it is a pathetic way (there are so many of these ways now) for a bloated and interfering government to let you know they are on your case.

Now what can behavior and risk surveillance of youth be used for? Only to introduce more programs to supposedly educate people which will, of course, be paid for with tax dollars.

And despite all of this money wasted, the nation gets fatter and more asthmatic.

The sad fact of it all is that you cannot change people’s behavior by gathering statistics.

If you go to the YRBSS website you will find that over the past three years the youth were drinking less alcohol but were fatter. Really?

Maybe they just got better at lying about drinking alcohol and being obese is something not easily concealed. Anyway, did we really need a government agency to tell us that kids are fatter today than ever before?

The behavior and risk surveillance of youth is something America can ill afford. The prescription for a healthier society is to leave people alone. If people want to pig out and get really fat, let them.

They will depart this planet sooner than the rest of humanity (if we are to believe the medical Nazis) and the people left will breed thin people who eat in moderation and exercise a lot.

It’s natural selection, and it will happen if the government throws money at it or not. But the government proves again and again that it wants more control over the people as it works toward total control.

The banking elite who have bought and paid for our elected officials push ever closer to a one world government and the annihilation of our freedom.

Obsession with Statistics

You get people who are obsessed with eating a Big Mac and French Fries every day, and sitting in front of the television drinking Coke and eating Twinkies, and then you get another type of weirdo who gets off on statistics.

The U.S. government is one such freak and now they know more about us than we know about them.

We are challenged not according to our individual merits but according to the statistics that have accumulated around us.

The Orwellian behavior and risk surveillance of youth is something this country can do without.

It is unacceptable for anyone to be used for statistics. It’s not as if statistics can make you better, either individually or collectively.

Back to the Constitution

What ever happened to liberty and the right to pursue happiness? Those who want to pig out on junk food should be left alone to do so. The people who create junk food should be free to sell it to whoever they want.

Just leave people alone. Soon enough they will figure out that junk food is junk and the pendulum will swing.

The government does not have a God-given, constitutional or any other right to know how we conduct our private lives, let alone try and remedy the perceived problem.

How will the government prevent junk food? How will the government prevent air pollution that causes asthma?

They can’t, and that’s why statistics are just a terrible way of making the American people know they are being watched by Big Brother.

Government Data Collection

The statistics-crazy U.S. government has prevented nothing–not drugs, not terrorists, not illegal immigrants, not junk food, not cancer, not obesity. In fact, all of these are more prevalent than ever before.

Then why the statistics? They certainly aren’t trying to track their own failures.

The real reason the government keeps throwing millions of our tax dollars at programs like behavior and risk assessments of youth is because they want us to know we are under their thumb and we can’t move without them knowing about it.

That is unacceptable. The CDC needs to be shut down immediately and programs like the behavior and risk surveillance of youth need to be banned.
