Big Brother Information America
Big Brother Information Teaches People About the New World Order. George Orwell Gave Us the Best Book for Spotting the Growth of Police-State Rule in America Today.
Big Brother information may be among the most difficult to obtain in a country as free as America is supposed to be. We know “He” is there, and we know “He” is watching, but we don’t really see “Him” or know really how “He” is working.
But He’s there, and He’s watching, and he has been for the better part of the last eight years at least. A question to ask scholars of the Constitution is, is it possible to charge a president, former or otherwise, with plagiarism?
Because as the former President Bush waged his own personal war against the colloquial umbrella of “terrorism,” he appeared to borrow heavily, if not outright ripped off the ideas of George Orwell’s 1984.
Yes, 1984 was a novel of prophesy, no? It depicted a government that controlled its masses through propaganda immersion, and it cracked down on thoughts of a subversive nature and consequently altered history in order to suit its own needs.
Sound familiar? But what the previous Administration may not have understood about 1984 was that the intent of the book was to be one that warned against totalitarianism evils; It was not a guidebook on Totalitarianism For Dummies, as Bush seems to have used it.
America may be a long way from paralleling Orwell’s authoritarian state, but the similarities are beyond eerie. And are we really that far off?
Big Brother Lives in America
We will refer back to 1984, for this is where we will find the origin of Big Brother and the kind of information that Big Brother is looking for.
He’s looking for anything that goes against what the government says, does, thinks or opines. Because of Big Brother, there exists a perpetual state of war against–what enemy?
The war in 1984 is as abstract as Big Brother is, yet it served a convenient function of fuelling hatred, nurturing fear, and justifying a totalitarian regime. It DOES sound familiar, and it grows more so every day.
The war against terrorism may as well be called the Bush Administration hypocrisy. We were informed of the steady resolve and the clear mission, yet Americans know very little about the enemy that is being fought.
Americans are losing their lives fighting a concept that is more elusive than Big Brother himself.
Bush himself identified this war as an indefinite one in terms of duration. This was a war that we THOUGHT was being fought against the Al Qaeda and Mr. Bin Laden, so how did we end up in Afghanistan?
Why is there an intense campaign about Iraq?
Bush Administration = Ministry of Truth
The Bush Administration was Orwell’s Ministry of Truth, the Thought Police, and more. Big Brother information and its operatives are in America.
This Big Brother spread falsities in order to match its own strategic plans, and history was rewritten as a matter of convenience.
One of the job descriptions of America’s Big Brother was to practice commonplace tasks in the White House that included sanitizing presidential transcripts in order to remove Bush gaffes.
But Big Brother information cannot be tracked, quantified or seen. This Big Brother was also responsible for ensuring that the intelligence warnings that came prior to the September 11 attacks were spotty at best.
This Big Brother was also responsible for muddying up previous financial transactions of the president and continuously revising as much.
America’s Big Brother is very similar to Orwell’s. We can’t see him, hear him, feel him, or even understand what he is up to.
And obtaining Big Brother information is nothing but impossible. But He’s there. And He’s watching.
