There’s been a great deal of debate about American fascist, so let’s get the record clear. There is no question that we are living in a fascist country, and we’ll show you why we know that.

Fascism is basically an open based dictatorship, which is reactionary, chauvinistic, and imperialist, so let’s look at these three components.

Reactionary is when policy is made based on the current circumstances with little regard to long term solutions, and the truth becoming indistinguishable or even forgotten.

Chauvinistic is a legal system that is two tier with varying rights that are based on origin, race, and creed.

Imperialist are elements of finance capital and where by territorial acquisition extends a nation’s authority, or by the establishment of political or economic domination over its allies.

It’s easy to see that American fascist is alive and well in our nation. Dictatorship is commonly associated with fascism, although during the 20th century many fascist countries actually started out as republic countries.

Fear mongering was used and rights disappeared all in the name of security. That sounds an awful lot like America today doesn’t it?

Fascist, Communist, Socialist State – The Same Faces

Whether you want to refer to America as the American fascist, communist, or a socialist state, the real truth is that they are really one and same faces with different names.

Since 911 we have allowed our government to destroy most of our rights.

When we bulk at certain ideas that exploit or destroy our rights they begin their fear mongering.

Red alerts for terrorism, anthrax scares, and terrorists hiding on your airplane. Combined with fear they tell us they must do this to keep us safe as a nation.

And all the while they are dismantling our Constitution bit by bit without so much as a whimper from us. After all who will protect us if our government doesn’t.

And so while our government keeps us in a state of fear, and claims it is doing such a great job of protecting us we take the totalitarian walk and one day soon we will awaken and discover tyranny has arrived.

When we think of fascism we tend to think of the Italian dictator Mussolini, General Franco of Spain, and of course Nazi Germany with Hitler.

But what about fascism in America? The movement is well underway in the United States.

Let’s look at the 14 warning signs of fascism and then you can decide if America has become a fascist nation.

• 1. Continuing Nationalism – Continuous use of patriotic symbols, songs, and flags.
  
• 2. Disregard for the Recognition of Human Rights – Our human rights are ignored in the name of security.
  
• 3. Identification of the Enemy.
  
• 4. Military Supremacy.
  
• 5. Rampant Sexism – Fascists nations have male dominated governments.
  
• 6. Controlled Mass Media – Major media outlets are controlled by the wealthy elite.
  
• 7. Obsession With National Security – Fear is used by the government to motivate the masses.
  
• 8. Religion and Government Become Intertwined.
  
• 9. Protection of Corporate Powers – government and the powerful elite create a mutually beneficial relationship.
  
• 10. Labour Power is Suppressed.
  
• 11. Disdain for the Arts and Intellectuals.
  
• 12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment.
  
• 13. Rampant Corruption.
  
• 14. Fraudulent Elections – In some countries elections are a complete sham. Manipulation by the media is common, as are smear campaigns.
