In the Past, Biblical Family Values were Prominent in Our Society, but that Changed Over the Course of the 20Th Century
Can you Preserve Biblical Family Values Today?
Family values are beliefs that many people have usually based in traditions passed down through the generations, and often times these family values are preserved through political and religious institutions.
For instance Biblical family values have been the basis for European family structure for hundreds of years, however it is interesting to note that most religious institutions on Earth have nearly identical family values and structure.
From the Chinese cultural perspective to the European Biblical perspective, the core values instilled within these traditions are essentially identical in their basis, and the family structure is likewise nearly identical.
This universal family structure is as follows, husband and wife, brothers and sisters which form the core central unit of the family, and extended family such as grandparents, cousins, on the outer cores.
This family structure is considered as a physical representation of the people’s ideological value system, from which duties become necessary to maintain the value system.
Many believe that the term ”family values” has been hijacked by people’s with ulterior political motives, and that it has become a near meaningless buzzword thrown around without having any real context or depth, as has become all to common on political pundit TV.
Some socially conservative thinkers have also argued that they believe there is a direct threat on traditional family values, and that both sides of the argument have been hijacked and are controlled by a manipulative ventriloquist.
What does the Bible Say a Family Must Value?
Many researchers have realized that because there is an obvious bias in media warping arguments into mindlessness, or deflecting and redirecting arguments into unrelated issues.
This is why in order to determine what real Biblical family values are, we must view the Holy Book of the Christian faith, the Bible itself.
Whether someone agrees or disagrees with the Bible, or if they do not care about the dogmatic arguments at all, they are only distractions from a real unbiased study of the Bible and it’s place in human literature.
The Bible itself claims that there is one foundation in the Scripture that all followers of their Faith may use as a guidepost.
This is Ecclesiastes 12:13 NKJV, and it states ”Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter Fear God and keep His commandments,” and so basically this is stating that all family values must be determined from the ‘commandments’.
What are the Biblical Commandments?
The commandments are what is suppose to guide Christians, and it is basically a set of ten simple laws that are nearly identical to the laws of all other major cultures and religions across Earth history.
Simple laws such as, do not steal, do not murder, are universally recognized even by secular atheism.
Other commandments which form the foundation of the Biblical family values follow as, honor thy mother and father, do not commit adultery, do not covet your neighbor’s wife or property, and to not bear false witness.
These simple laws that actually appear more like common decency and respectfulness, are so basic and inherent to nearly all major societies on Earth today that people take it for granted.
These values have served to cause family units to be exceptionally well build economic units, and through respect of neighbors, intricate and developed communities formed.
However in the modern world, these family units have grown into such massive sprawling metropolises, that no one hardly knows their neighbors anymore, if even their family.
Death of Biblical Family Values?
Many researchers attest that there is actually a bizarre conspiracy afoot to destroy family values not only in the United States, but throughout the world.
This not only includes Christianity, but also Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, and other major institutions that serve as retainers of traditional knowledge and pillars of society.
By focusing on the silly dogma present within the ancient texts, and taking it out of context and presenting it as literalism, when many times it is simple metaphor or allegory, the argument can be hijacked and the direction can be plotted.
This conspiracy theory is not so much a theory anymore as it has become a commonly accepted fact of life, that the family structure throughout societies all over the world is collapsing, and the new family is beginning to appear to be the government itself.
Many believe that if citizens consider the government their only ”real” family, that they will become wholly subservient to the tyranny eerily similar to that found within Brave New World or 1984.
