Latest News on JFK Assassination
Latest News on JFK Assassination: New Evidence Uncovered in Safe Supports Conspiracy Theories of Why Kennedy Was Murdered.
The latest news on JFK assassination is always circulating, much of it just more theories but much of it based on new evidence, or old evidence that is looked at with new technology.
Since Kennedy was assassinated on November 22nd, 1963, there has been much speculation about why he was murdered and who murdered him.
By now most people think they’ve heard it all but new ways of at looking at evidence are changing what they think.
Although JFK was a very popular president among the American people, he was also a very controversial one as well.
JFK wanted to make a difference and to make a difference he had to change things and shake up the United States Government.
And when he started making those changes he stepped on the toes of a lot of powerful men who weren’t used to having someone stand in their way.
In light of so much controversy and evidence it may be unlikely that we’ll ever know that truth about what happened.
If those people who killed JFK have managed to keep silent and hidden for all these years they’re likely to have buried the evidence so deep that we’ll never find it.
At the same time the latest news on JFK assassination may bring us one step closer to long awaited answers.
Bullet Evidence
On May 17, 2007, the Science Daily printed an article about bullet evidence that directly challenges some of the previous findings in Kennedy’s assassination, as researchers and scientists at Texas A&M; University are using chemistry and statistics to challenge the traditional techniques and methods of studying evidence that were used when JFK was shot.
For years the speculation has been that there was only one gunman who killed JFK, but Cliff Spiegelman, a professor of statistics at Texas A&M; joined forces with two other men: William A. Tobin, a forensic scientist at Forensic Engineering International, and William D. James, a research chemist at Texas A&M; Center for Chemical Characterization and Analysis (CCCA).
Using bullets that came from the same batch as those used to kill Kennedy, the three men performed a forensic and chemical analysis.
What they found was that previous evidence that ruled out a second man in the shootings was flawed.
Using techniques not available in the early 1960s, the three men found that those bullet fragments from the shooting weren’t as rare as investigators in 1963 once thought.
From the ten bullets they tested from the same box, one bullet, after careful analysis, is a match to one or more of the five fragments from the shooting.
This means that those matching fragments could be from three or more different bullets, which shows there must be more than one shooter.
New Evidence
Other latest news on JFK assassination is new evidence that was revealed in February of 2008.
Craig Watkins, a Dallas County District attorney, discovered evidence on the 10th floor of the Frank Crowley Courts Building.
Locked in a safe were brass knuckles, an assassin’s gun holster, and a transcript of a conversation about murdering the president.
Also found were boxes of Kennedy investigation reports and files.
Watkins found the evidence after he won the fall election in 2006.
Apparently other district attorneys were told about the safe but they decided to keep quiet.
The reason Watkins has come forward is that he plans to run an administration that is open and straightforward.
Assassination experts believe the transcript is a fake but Watkins is unsure if he agrees or disagrees.
The files and reports were all scanned by Watkins’ office and will eventually be released to continue the investigation.
Not everyone who learned of the contents of the safe was surprised.
Apparently quite a few have known about the safe and the documents but no one before Watkins has come forward.
More Continuing Speculation
The latest news on JFK assassination will always be welcomed by anyone who is interested in the Kennedy assassination.
Perhaps one or more of the old theories will prove to be correct.
For instance there are many people, government officials included, who believe that JFK was killed because he wanted to reign in the power of the global criminal elite in the United States, a group of powerful and very wealthy men who (still) want to keep the control they have over the government.
In fact, an order he signed in the weeks before he was killed, was rescinded by the new president as his first order of business while aboard Air Force One as it returned to Washington from Dallas the day Kennedy was shot.
