The Codex Alimentarius & why You Need to Know About It
The Codex Alimentarius is a collection of internationally recognized standards, codes of practice, guidelines, and other recommendations relating to foods, food production, and food safety. Codex Alimentarius operates within the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Health Organization to establish international food standards that protect the health of consumers and ensure fair practices in trade.
That’s the wikipedia version anyway.
There are already several Codex texts in existence that place restrictions upon the health benefits that can be attributed to food products, and perhaps the most significant of these is the Codex General Guidelines on Claims. Adopted in 1979, and revised in 1991, these guidelines are in some senses the very root of the Codex problem – in terms of placing severe restrictions upon natural forms of healthcare – in that they effectively seek to ensure that the only products that can make claims relating to the prevention, alleviation, treatment, and cure of disease are pharmaceutical drugs.
Specifically, the Codex General Guidelines on Claims prohibit all claims implying that a balanced diet or ordinary foods cannot supply adequate amounts of all nutrients, and all claims that food products are suitable for use in the prevention, alleviation, treatment or cure of diseases.
There is an entire industry with an economic interest to obstruct, suppress and discredit any information about the eradication of diseases. The pharmaceutical industry makes trillions of dollars annually from selling drugs for ongoing diseases. These drugs may relieve symptoms, but they do not cure.
“The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way, the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed.”
The Codex Alimentarius Commission adopted its first guidelines and principles for genetically-modified (GM) foods in 2003. These texts subsequently became instrumental in the United States, Canada and Argentina launching, and winning, a trade dispute at the WTO against the European Union (EU), where it was argued that the EU had been applying a moratorium on the approval and importation of foods containing GM material.

Further guidelines and standards for GM foods are now in the process of being drafted by Codex. The eventual adoption of these texts will further contribute to making the approval, and importation, of GM foods that comply with them mandatory for all WTO member countries. Crucially, therefore, the United States, Canada, and Argentina are also pushing for there to be no requirement for manufacturers or exporters of GM foods to disclose the presence of genetically modified organisms on their product labeling.
This is exactly what the big GM food manufacturers want, of course, as they have long realized that growing numbers of people are opposed to GM food products, and moreover that they will not be able to change public opinion about these products anytime soon. Unlike the seeds for regular foods, the seeds for GM foods can be patented.

It is No Suprise America’s Youth is Sicker Than Ever
It’s no secret our kids are more chronically ill than ever before. This is the first generation in American history that are NOT expected to outlive their parents. The number of childhood vaccinations on the CDC schedule has skyrocketed since 1986 when Congress took away liability from the pharmaceutical companies who make the vaccines. Leaving the door wide open to poison us without ever being financially liable for the damage they cause.
We live in a country whose medical professionals, the so-called experts we are told to trust, think an hours-old newborn needs a vaccine for a disease you only get from sex or sharing needles. Which happens to contain levels of aluminum 200 times the level of the EPA even says is safe.
Then factor in our kids’ diet and you have a recipe for disaster. Parents on the go trying to juggle work and their kids’ school activities, sports practices, and games non-stop from one season to the next leaves little time to monitor what our kids eat. Convenience often trumps nutrition. Definitely not parent shaming anyone. I include myself in all of this too. We are products of our environment and I definitely wasn’t raised to be conscious of all the foods I eat.
As long as the public remains ignorant and unquestioning of the crap they are fed, then global human health continues to be assaulted from every angle. The human diet loses integrity, nutrition levels are undermined, our DNA (and therefore our children’s’ DNA) becomes corrupted, and actual toxic additives in our processed food poison us with every bite.
