The NSA and Echelon have advanced far beyond what any American citizen desires. 

The National Security Agency (NSA) is the most secretive of all U.S. Government covert agencies. 

Many U.S. citizens know about the FBI and CIA. Few know about the NSA. 

However, more people should be paying attention to the NSA, and more specifically its Echelon project. 

A secret pact, the UKUSA Security Agreement of 1948, brought five nations together in an effort to spy on Communism. 

The U.S., UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia decided to work together against its enemies by combining surveillance capabilities. 

However, the NSA and Echelon have advanced to the point of spying on its own citizens, not on enemies (unless, of course, the truth is that modern, rogue national governments do consider their citizens as enemies.).

NSA and Echelon Have Advanced with FISA’s Help

One event that lead to more NSA powers was the 1978 act called the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

Supposedly, FISA was to cut back on what the NSA and Echelon could do.

Instead, it set up precedent to where the NSA and Echelon have advanced to the point of spying with a secret court system!

“Seven judges on a secret court have authorized all but one of over 7,500 requests to spy in the name of National Security.

“They meet in secret, with no published orders, opinions, or public record.

“Those spied on may never know of the intrusion. Since its founding in 1978, a secret court created by FISA, has received 7,539 applications to authorize electronic surveillance within the U.S.

“In the name of national security, the court has approved all but one of these requests from the Justice Department on behalf of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency.

“Each of these decisions was reached in secret, with no published orders, opinions, or public record.

“The people, organizations, or embassies spied on were not notified of either the hearing or the surveillance itself.

“The American Civil Liberties Union was not able to unearth a single instance in which the target of a FISA wiretap was allowed to review the initial application.

“Nor would the targets be offered any opportunity to see transcripts of the conversations taped by the government and explain their side of the story.

“(The FISA court) now has legal authority to approve black-bag operations to authorize Department of Justice (DOJ) requests to conduct physical as well as electronic searches, without obtaining a warrant in open court, without notifying the subject, without providing an inventory of items seized.

“The targets need not be under suspicion of committing a crime, but may be investigated when probable cause results solely from their associations or status, for example, belonging to, or aiding and abetting organizations deemed to pose a threat to U.S. national security.

“Furthermore, despite a lowered standard for applying the Fourth Amendment against unreasonable search and seizure than is necessary in other U.S. courts, under the 1995 expansion, evidence gathered by the FISA court may now be used in criminal trials.

“Previously, evidence was collected and stockpiled solely for intelligence purposes.”

“FISA places no effective restraint on NSA surveillance on the international communications of U.S. citizens, of all types and in every place.

“Foreign corporations and multinationals, as well as governments, can also collect U.S. private communications.

NSA and Echelon Have Advanced Too Far for an Ally

Although the UK and U.S. entered into Echelon in partnership, a 1997, [a] London Telegraph article detailed a study done for the European Parliament regarding U.S. controlled Echelon spying in the UK.

It looks like the NSA and Echelon have advanced too far for even its partner-in-crime.

“A European Commission report warns that the United States has developed an extensive network spying on European citizens and we should all be worried.

“A GLOBAL electronic spy network that can eavesdrop on every telephone, email and telex communication around the world will be officially acknowledged for the first time in a European Commission report to be delivered this week.

“The report. Assessing the Technologies of Political Control was commissioned last year by the Civil Liberties Committee of the EuropeanParliament.

“It contains details of a network of American-controlled intelligence stations on British soil and around the world, that routinely and indiscriminately monitor countless phone, fax and email messages. It states.

“Within Europe all email telephone and fax communications are routinely intercepted by the United States National Security Agency transfering all target information from the European mainland via the strategic hub of London then by satellite to Fort Meade in Maryland via the crucial hub at Men with Hill in the North York moors in the UK.

“The report confirms for the first time the existence of the secretive Echelon system.”

NSA and Echelon Have Advanced into Corporate World

Then there are the reports that NSA and Echelon have advanced to the point of being used to spy on and accumulate secrets on corporations in order to benefit other elite-led corporations.

“Since the demise of Communism in Eastern Europe, the intelligence agencies have searched for a new justification for their surveillance capability in order to protect their prominence and their bloated budgets.

“Their solution was to redefine the notion of national security to include economic, commercial and corporate concerns.

“An office was created within the Department of Commerce, the Office of Intelligence Liaison, to forward intercepted materials to major U.S. corporations.

“In many cases, the beneficiaries of this commercial espionage effort are the very companies that helped the NSA develop the systems that power the Echelon network.

“This incestuous relationship is so strong that sometimes this intelligence information is used to push other American manufacturers out of deals in favor of these mammoth U.S. defense and intelligence contractors, who frequently are the source of major cash contributions to both political parties.

“While signals intelligence technology was helpful in containing and eventually defeating the Soviet Empire during the Cold War, what was once designed to target a select list of communist countries and terrorist states is now indiscriminately directed against virtually every citizen in the world.”

NSA and Echelon Have Advanced to Match Senator Church’s Fears

It’s quite apparent that NSA and Echelon have advanced into the area feared by Senator Frank Church.

He was Senate Intelligence Committee chairman during a 1975 Congressional Hearing concerning the NSA and Echelon.

“At the same time, that capability at any time could be turned around on the American people and no American would have any privacy left, such [is] the capability to monitor everything. telephone conversations, telegrams, it doesn’t matter.

“There would be no place to hide.

“If this government ever became a tyranny, if a dictator ever took charge in this country, the technological capacity that the intelligence community has given the government could enable it to impose total tyranny, and there would be no way to fight back, because the most careful effort to combine together in resistance to the government, no matter how privately it was done, is within the reach of the government to know.

“Such is the capability of this technology… I don’t want to see this country ever go across the bridge.

“I know the capacity that is there to make tyranny total in America, and we must see to it that this agency and all agencies that possess this technology operate within the law and under proper supervision, so that we never cross over that abyss.

“That is the abyss from which there is no return.”

There’s no way to hide from Echelon’s 24/7 surveillance.

Combine how the NSA and Echelon have advanced beyond the original goal to monitor nations with human implantation of RFID chips and national ID cards with tracking capability; and you have a society where you must suppress your dissent or face the consequences of a tyrannical ruling elite, such as New World Order prisons.

The way the NSA and Echelon have advanced beyond the original intent is merely a symptom of allowing international bankers and industrialists to take control of our monetary system.
