United Nations Policy on Torture Broken
United Nations Policy on Torture Reveals That George Bush Committed Crimes. The UN is Building a World Regime Based on Terror and Conquest to Benefit Elites.
The United Nations policy on torture was evidently immune to George W Bush’s decision making when he was president. During the war on terror, it is no secret the United States committed war crimes by torturing detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
Bush treated this with his usual impish demeanor, acting as if he did not realize what was going on, when everyone realized he actually did.
Because of the torture, Bush and company violated the United Nations policy on torture, which they were well aware of at the time.
The United Nations policy calls for prison time for those convicted of violating the policy, which means Bush could feasibly go to prison.
If Bush were to go to prison he would be in good company as he would likely have his good friend and coconspirator Donald Rumsfeld as a cell mate.
Rumsfeld is directly connected to the torture, while Bush is indirectly connected but still accountable for what happened.
The United States is quick to bring charges of war crimes against other nations but has not had to answer to their own crimes in the past.
From atomic bombs to horrendous torture, the US has seemed untouchable and has moved freely about with a big stick, even with the United Nations policy on torture in place.
It seems this might have finally caught up to the US as it is now being held responsible for the crimes committed.
A President who tried to prove he was not accountable to anyone but God now might have to take the stand in his own defense.
One has to wonder, though, if that day will ever come or if Rumsfeld will take full responsibility and Bush will spend more days on the ranch, relaxing and working on his public speaking skills.
Knowing the speed of the judicial system, it may be some time before anyone knows for sure, but one can guess Bush will get off with a warning for his heinous crimes against humanity.
The United States and War Crimes
The United States has a long history of being a war criminal. It would be unpatriotic to admit, as proud of a nation as we are on being humane and just. But the US didn’t get to where it is today by being humane and just.
The US is guilty of rape, torture, and murder of innocent civilians, but it has managed to continue on without answering to the crimes, even though it has been in violation of the United Nations policy on torture.
Bush will Go Unscathed
Bush will likely walk away with nothing more than a tainted legacy. For a man that wanted nothing more than to be a better president than his father, that might be enough to hurt him.
However, he should be brought forth to admit to his poor actions and stripped of any honorary merit because asking for him to receive the same torture he allowed as punishment would never happen.
