Even today there are many theories as to what happened the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Much of the speculation comes from the assassination of JFK video clips and a good deal of footage taken by citizens who were there that day.

The John F. Kennedy assassination, which took place on November 22, 1963, is one of the most talked about crimes in US history.

Most of the video crews were actually waiting for President Kennedy to arrive at the Dallas Trade Mart.

The members of the media that did ride along with the motorcade were at the rear of the caravan.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Abraham Zapruder took what is best known as the film that caught the last few seconds of Kennedy’s life.

The Zapruder Film was published by Life Magazine not long after the assassination.

It was shown repeatedly on television starting in 1975, though sometimes times leaving out the fatal head shot.

However, Zapruder was not the only photographer to have assassination of JFK video clips as there were 32 other photographers in Dealey Plaza.

Other amateur films were made by Orville Nix, Marie Muchmore and Charles Bronson, all of who captured the fatal shot though further away than Zapruder.

Countless still photos were taken. Researchers labeled an unidentified woman as the Babushka Lady who may have been filming the presidential motorcade during the assassination as she was caught on film and photos taken by others.

Emerging Evidence

Recently, unknown color footage of the assassination filmed by George Jefferies was released on February 20, 2007 by the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas, Texas.

This film, unlike many of the other assassination of JFK video clips, does not include footage of the assassination as it was taken 90 seconds before the shooting and a few blocks away.

The only pertinent detail to the investigation from this is that there is a clear view of Kennedy’s jacket bunched just below the collar which has contributed to speculation as to how low in the back Kennedy was first shot.

The McGruder film contains the assassination of JFK video clips at the moment of impact. This film is often used to demonstrate flaws in the lone gunman theory.

The murder of Oswald indicates this as well. In any event the important part of the cover up is not who pulled the trigger but why the President and later his brother were killed.
