American Families in the 1850s Identify Downfall of American Families in 2000

American families in the 1850s represent the purest form of the family unit and the idea of how the family unit evolved over the history of man.

This unit had established clear boundaries in the roles that each person played in the family unit including the mother, father, and the children.

The father was identified as the provider, working a weekly job that allowed him to collect a paycheck that was used to fund the family and provide a healthy atmosphere to raise the children.

The mother was identified as the caregiver, managing the responsibilities of raising children, providing a clean and healthy household and looking out for the overall welfare of the entire unit.

The children were identified as the inexperienced, seeking guidance from the mother and father, establishing an idea of rules, morals and respect for others.

This concept of the family unit helped create this great country leading back to the colonial period, following relatively the same family unit and values.

Following the 1850s, corporate greed established goals to destroy this unit in order to split parents, brainwash children and maximize corporate profit.

American families in the 1850s have become an idea of the past because the corporate giants have achieved their goals to profit off the split family.

Destruction of the American Families in the 1850s

The beginning of the destruction of the American families in the 1850s can be traced back to the Women’s Liberation Movement.

Women were being lead to believe that their position as caregiver was an unappreciated family position and that employment was the ultimate representation of success in America.

The corporate elites goal was to create this concept of inequality, displaying that the role of caregiver was not a necessary or fulfilling role for the women to play and that men were holding down the female masses.

By achieving this goal, the elite would now have a new work force that they can tax for government profit and pay a lower wage to than the male workforce.

This lower waged work force then forced the existing workforce to drop their rates in order to maintain employment.

In addition to the cheaper work force, the elite had also separated the parental units from the children, allowing children to be monitored and taught by after school care, using brainwashing techniques to influence the youth of America.

This concept of dual working parents lead to the expansion of personal debt as that families were no longer living within their means and utilizing credit to obtain personal desires.

The idea of personal achievement and private satisfaction is what leads to the destruction of the family unit and the financial stress that continues in the current economic atmosphere.

Continued Phase of Poor Parenting

American families in the 1850s represents an idea of the past, as the corporate elite have twisted the youth of America into continuing this destructive form of the family environment.

Over the last few decades, concepts of sex, betrayal, lying, cheating and stealing are being portrayed as acceptable means of acting in television programming.

Children’s programming has moved away from a wholesome and educational format in favor of animated characters and teams of crime fighters that use physical violence to resolve conflicts.

Teenagers are exposed to programming that promotes sex, teen pregnancy, vandalism, friend betrayal and drugs.

Television has become the new caregiver in the family unit and the American youth have embraced these new concepts of not valuing relationships and living with no responsibility as they grow into adults and pass these corrupt values onto their children.

Parents of America need to seriously reflect on the decisions related to personal gain they are trying to achieve and place that focus back on the raising of their children in a wholesome and loving environment.
