Why You Need to Know the Mind of a Psychopathy: THEY RULE THE WORLD!

Why You Need To Know The Mind of A Psychopathy: THEY RULE THE WORLD!

Although diagnosing definitive psychopathy in individuals remains somewhat of a grey area, attempts have been made to categorize psychological traits that set psychopathic personalities apart. Most prominent is the diagnostic check-list devised by renowned Canadian psychologist Robert Hare that is used to determine a categorical diagnosis of clinical psychopathy, or at best a category score.

According to Hare’s list, psychopaths display superficial charm, unbridled ego, and pathological lying and cold, calculated cunning to entrance their prey. They are often impulsive and irresponsible, and exhibit an absence of empathy and remorseless lack of guilt. These and other attributes, such as criminal versatility and a marked capacity to manipulate, deceive and control, mark them out as dangerous.

These are traits that enable psychopaths to move into high-ranking positions of power and influence.

“Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we’re being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I’m liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That’s what’s insane about it.”

– John Lennon

Why You Need To Know The Mind of A Psychopathy: THEY RULE THE WORLD!

A rare study on psychopathy in the workplace suggests that 1 in 25, or 4 percent (four times what it is in the population at large), of corporate executives display significant personality traits typical of psychopathy – an incidence four times that estimated in the general population.

In the United States congress the percentage is higher. In fact, in reading Dr. Ron Paul’s most recent essay Reckless Congress Declares War on Russia—all but ten congressmen voted for the measure. Any good psychologist would conclude that there are 425 psychopaths in the House of Representatives and only 10 normal people who care about children and everyone else.

Ron Paul said:

“Today the US House passed what I consider to be one of the worst pieces of legislation ever. The bill was 16 pages of war propaganda that should have made even neocons blush, if they were capable of such a thing. I can hardly believe they are getting away with it again, and this time with even higher stakes: provoking a war with Russia that could result in total destruction!”

Psychopaths are super intelligent charmers who are highly skilled at playing others in order to get what they want. They are keenly perceptive at reading people, understanding their motives and values, brilliant at learning their weaknesses and blind spots, and highly effective at inducing both sympathy and guilt in others.

The part of the brain that regulates emotions, the amygdala, is less active in psychopaths. Thus, they do not feel fear, sadness, regret or disgust that the rest of us experience. Only when it is self-serving will psychopaths act scared, sorry, indignant or surprised, and the key operable word here is act because that is all they can do when it comes to showing real emotion.

Psychopaths see others in terms of how they can be conveniently and cunningly used and manipulated to assist them in achieving their selfish goals and ambitions. By design the morally bankrupt oligarchic system is structured in such a way as to identify, groom and regularly promote up the power pole ladder slick psychopaths who play their cards right.

They inherently know how to say the right words to the right persons at the strategic moment to calculatingly scheme and coldheartedly plot their rise to the highest echelons of power. A politician spends more time, energy and money trying to get elected/reelected to public office than any other single pursuit or pastime.

In this pragmatic way, the psychopathic description that they are mere public cons and hustlers selling themselves on the highest, competitively demanding stage is neither too simplistic nor an exaggeration.

“Yes, politicians are more likely than people in the general population to be sociopaths. I think you would find no expert in the field of sociopathy/ psychopathy/antisocial personality disorder who would dispute this… That a small minority of human beings literally have no conscience was and is a bitter pill for our society to swallow – but it does explain a great many things, shamelessly deceitful political behavior being one.”

-Harvard clinical psychologist and author of The Sociopath Next Door Dr. Martha Stout

In recent years, waves of whistleblowers have emerged, exposing the unprecedented scale of government and institutional corruption. From Chelsea Manning to Edward Snowden, their courage and conscience not only revealed a system virtually devoid of morality, but it unmasked some of the operators of its machinery; those who act remorselessly without any regard for others.

In The Mask of Sanity, Psychiatrist Hervey M. Cleckley articulated how deception is at the core of psychopathy. Psychopaths feign empathy to hide their claws and teeth. With superficial charm, they cover up their lack of conscience and manipulate people. Systems of representative democracy have become a mask that is used by these ruthless individuals to gain a grip on a populace, making victims complicit in their transgression.
