Wiretapping Scandal People Involved

Bush Authorization for NSA Causes Wiretapping Scandal and Talk of Impeachment.

Wiretapping scandal with NSA leads to calls for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court, known as FISC, was created as a direct result of Nixon’s abuse of power that led to his impeachment.

John Dean, a law professor and former Council to Nixon said of Bush’s authorization for warrantless wiretapping, “There can be no serious question that warrantless wiretapping, in violation of the law, is impeachable”.

The calls for impeachment were for the same, “I am above the law,” attitude that took President Nixon down and over the same issue.

Nixon, just like Bush, made the claim that the wiretapping was done as a matter of national security.

Actually, the wiretapping scandal that involved the NSA, brought on cries for the impeachment of Bush from many corners.

But when a picture of danger lurking around every corner has been painted and bought by the public, there is a strong reluctance to make a change at the upper levels, out of fear of having things get worse.

Increased levels of surveillance came as direct result of the event of 9/11, making the events of that day play very much in favor of the banking mafia agenda.

Impeachment, the Media Spin

Considering all of the legitimate calls for impeachment, the media gave it almost no coverage, especially when compared to the impeachment coverage of Nixon, a few administrations earlier.

In fact, Nixon and Bush shared many of the same cabinet members and even more secret advisors, who called the shots from the shadows.

The wiretapping scandal was part of the plan, or was utilized very efficiently by the banking mafia.

In their own version of “shock and awe” the banking mafia, through their media puppets, cause just the right level of discontent, leading to a righteous anger, which is then brushed aside in the media, either directly or tacitly by having it disappear from the news.

Wiretapping Scandal: No Accident

The actions of Bush with the NSA and his authorization for warrantless wiretaps, was a very public maneuver, with predictable reactions.

The whole scene was staged, a prospect made even more unbelievable considering the apparent ineptitude Bush has for public, or even intelligent speech.

Once wiretapping had its foothold as a viable option for use against the supposed terrorists of Al Qaeda, it was quickly expanded to reach into the general population of Americans.

The passing of the law, then, had the single purpose of building a web for use against citizens who may be saying things in judgment of the government.

As a citizen, it is a primary responsibility to question governmental authority.

Government Should Earn the Right to Govern

For the government the wiretapping scandal with NSA and other similar instances that will never reach the media has built a strong case for bringing government to question.

Instead of government being questioned, it is the citizens who would bring the questions to the government and to the public’s attention, who are commonly called traitor by the very government, which, by its actions, has become questionable..

The danger from terrorism is real, but it is coming from inside the government of this country, not from caves in deserts across the world.

A terrorist is someone who causes fear in order to rule. The banking mafia are, by definition, the real terrorists.

Just because someone has the power to rule, does not mean they should. Be aware of who you are giving authority over you. Make them earn it by right action and thoughtful choices.
